The truth is, tantrums don’t just occur in children. Adults have their own versions, too, when they’re overwhelmed or over capacity. Like adults, kids don’t act out because they’re bad but because their nervous systems are being propelled into fight or flight — often due to foods that stress out their bodies.
The types of snacks we feed our kids can have a lasting impact. Any snacks that cause glucose spikes will eventually cause their mood and dopamine levels to plummet. This is a major cause of tantrums for both children and adults.
I’ll be going into more detail during this free session on your child’s developing brain and body through a somatic lens, how to prevent glucose crashes, and best practices when it comes to snacking.
This session will be 60 minutes and is free to attend. Everyone who registers will receive a replay.
