Food Therapy: The Connection Between Weight & Trauma

As a nutritionist and somatic therapist, the connection between weight and trauma affects almost everyone. From no appetite or hunger cues, to overeating and purging, to fad diets and skipping meals — being in balance with our food and our bodies isn’t something that we just easily do. But we can start to notice the body’s cues, and begin to practice.

In this session, I’ll teach how to use nutrition to restore your nervous system and give practical tips on how to titrate into a new way of eating (again: not a diet!!).

I’ll also speak to my own journey of binge-eating junk food and carbs to healing childhood traumas through a balancing diet and somatic techniques, which you will also be able to apply to your own food journey.

This session will be 60 minutes and is free to attend. Everyone who registers will receive a replay.
