This course is an immersive, 6 week experience into your body & mind. It is designed to deliver all of the necessary tools, techniques, and philosophies to begin healing trauma holistically and naturally just through listening to your body. The language of the body is sensation. When we learn to feel these sensations & communicate with them we begin a lifelong dialogue of listening to ourselves and releasing trauma/stress as they occur - so we don't live a life resulting from a build-up of stress/trauma in the body. Better health, better mindset, and a better life are the usual results of this work.
Course Structure

The course is 6 weeks long, with 12 meetings total.
We meet twice a week: once on a Sunday & once on a Wednesday.
We meet every Sunday at 11am EST for a 90 minute lecture, practice session and Q&A.
We meet every Wednesday at 5:15pm EST for a 45 minute session to practice what we learned on Sunday.
Each class is recorded for those of you who cannot attend each class live.
You will have daily support from me & your classmates through a private online chatroom just for this course.
You will also get PDFs from each class for review.

Week 1
What Is Trauma & How Do We Regulate From It? You will learn what happens in the body during trauma & why we behave and feel the way we do. We will also explore the beginnings of understanding how to regulate our bodies from the charge of trauma. Week 2
The Quiet Diet We will dive into whole food nutritional philosophies, including herbal medicine, to balance your mind & body on a physical level before diving into the deeper work of learning self-regulation and trauma release. Week 3
Co-Regulation, Coping Mechanisms & Addictions You will begin learning how to find safety in your own mind & body. By doing this, we being to dissolve addictions, co-dependent relationships, & trauma bonds. |
Week 4
Creating A Somatic Lifestyle When we recreate our daily practice and rituals around & for our nervous systems, we find a deeper center, peace, & joy within ourselves and in our lives. Living our life through listening to our bodies & needs. Week 5
Self-Regulation You will deepen your understanding of releasing trauma & stress from your body through specific exercises set up to balance the nervous system, create parasympathetic release, and help the body begin restoring itself. Week 6
Integration We will spend our final week integrating and sharing what we've learned on the journey, opening the circle to questions and feedback, as well as continuing the practice self-regulation. Following the 6 weeks, everyone will have the option to join an additional private 6-week support group with me to deepen the tools learned from the course. |

Meet Your teacher

I am a Somatic Therapist & Educator, a musician, a father, & a husband. I healed myself of chronic illness when I was 18 years old, using only food. I went onto study & apprentice whole food & herbal healing and began helping people manage their PTSD, anxiety, and chronic health issues with diet alone through my private nutrition practice.
Then, in 2015, I discovered somatic therapy & went to the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute for a 3 year immersive training to practice Somatic Experiencing. This was the missing puzzle piece for my work. Now I had a way to help people release trauma from their bodies with various exercises & practices.
To meet the growing need for my work, I started his course so that people could begin working with their own trauma by learning how to speak to their bodies themselves. It's an incredible and affordable way to begin the journey now.
